About Athletes United for Youth

Honor is born out of a desire to serve humanity. With this attitude of service and a desire to aid our youth and community, it is through individual and corporate financial sponsorships, donations, partnerships and volunteers, that Partners, Dell Curry, Jay Bilas, and a Board of Directors assist Athletes United in the realization of its’ mission.

Our Mission Statement:

The mission of Athletes United for Youth is to provide a strong commitment to at-risk youth in helping build character and self esteem, as well as enhancing academic skills and creating model citizens for life through our Educational Scholarship Program.

The goal of Athletes United for Youth…

Athletes United for Youth, (AUFY) is a 501(c) (3) , not-for-profit organization with the goal of equipping youth in the Charlotte region with the skills and experiences to become responsible and productive citizens. Through our Educational Scholarship Program, we will be able to help youth enhance their academic skills through training and continued education so that they will be able to follow their dreams for the future.

As youth, our celebrity partners – Del Curry (16-year NBA veteran) and Jay Bilas (ESPN Basketball Analyst/Reporter) dreamed, believed, hoped and achieved. In having seen the results of that philosophy benefit them, they joined the efforts of Athletes United for Youth to continue to pass the philosophy on to others.
