A golf classic if ever you have attended one. This golf classic promises to be the most fun-filled, exciting event of the year. It is perfect for entertaining corporate clients, rewarding staff or simply contributing to the worthwhile cause of enriching the lives of youth in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area. The Athletes for Youth Celebrity Golf Charity Classic begins with a Kick-off Pairings Party on Sunday, June 25th at Dave & Buster’s – Concord Mills Mall. This semi-casual affair includes a Silent and Live auction and the pairings of some well-known sports celebrities with corporate foursomes. Some of the past participating celebrities have been James Worthy, John Starks, Jeff Gordon, Grant Hill, Moses Malone, Kerry Collins, Wesley Walls, Jay Bilas, Billy Packer, Vince Carter, Muggsy Bogues, David Wesley and Al Wood among many others. The games begin the following day on Monday, June 26th at Charlotte’s Newest Golfing Gem, The Palisades Golf Club. The Palisades is a Nicklaus designed golf course that is one of the most beautiful and challenging courses in North Carolina. So sponsor a foursome and join Steve Smith, Jay Bilas, Dell Curry and a host of well known celebrities in all the fun, all for a great cause, to aid our communities’ youth!
