Athletes United for Youth, (AUFY) became the official charity partner for the Citadel Group Championships at the Palisades in 2006. In addition to offering a world class professional tennis event, the Citadel Group Championships at the Palisades and AUFY are offering a once in a life time experience where individuals are paired with national celebrity tennis players to compete against each other in our exciting Pro-Am. The Pro-Am will be held on September 25, 2008 at Olde Providence Racquet Club. The Pro-AM will begin at 2:00 pm. everyone is invited...all free! Seating is available on a non-reserved, first come, first seated basis at the court-side stadium area and near the outlying courts. Matches will be played on ten 10 courts (#1-8 and #21, 22). Sandwiches, drinks and ice cream will be sold during the event. One hundred percent of all of the revenues collected will go directly to AUFY.

Before the Pro-Am, join us for our Exclusive Charity Kickoff Gala. This year’s event will be held at the luxurious and classic Ballantyne Resort nestled in the heart of the rolling hills of North Carolina overlooking the award winning 18-hold golf course.
The Ballantyne Resort and "The Lodge" capture the charm and sophistication of the grand hotels of the past, complete with European furnishings, museum quality artwork and antiques from around the world. This year we will be holding the Gala in "The Lodge" at the beautiful Ballantyne Resort.
We hope you will join Dell Curry, Steve Smith and Jay Bilas along with Jim Courier, Mark Philippoussis, Todd Martin and other celebrities for an evening full of elegance and style.
You may actually have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with national celebrity tennis players, who are some of the greatest names in tennis.
